P&O Ferries  operate the ferry service from Portsmouth to Bilbao, with departures on Wednesdays and Saturdays during the winter months, and increasing to a departure every three days in the summer. The outward leg to Bilbao departs at 9:15pm, arriving in Spain at 08:00 am two days later. The return ferry, leaves Bilbao at 1:15pm, arriving in Portsmouth at 17:15 the following day. Bilbao has direct rail connections to major Spanish cities, and the A8 motorway gives fast access by road.

All prices on the Portsmouth-Bilbao service include a comfortable standard cabin with the option to upgrade to a sea view for a small supplement. For the ultimate in luxury, you can really treat yourself and indulge in a Club cabin.

The ferry has a choice of restaurants, and when finished with eating, shopping and strolling the decks, why not pamper yourself in the health spa and beauty salon or enjoy a visit to the on board hairdressers. Nature lovers can spot dolphins and whales from the observation deck as the ferry sails through the Bay of Biscay.

Getting to Portsmouth Ferry port:

The easiest car route to the ferry port, is via the M27 and M275 from where the ferry terminal is sign-posted. Those arriving by train, should use Portsmouth & Southsea station, not Portsmouth Harbour.
